Welcome to Compass Flower Press and AKA Publishing’s new website! We recognized the need for an updated look and feel, so this is indeed an exciting event!

Last year, 2018, was a full and exciting year, with four new releases in the last quarter!

Wayne P. Anderson placed another of his themed travel volumes under our care, Native Americans: Cultures Past and Present in November, following a  spring event, “Honoring Wayne and Carla Anderson.” Compass Flower Press hosted this well-attended celebration of our most-published authors.

John Drake Robinson’s third book of his road travel series, Souls Along the Road: Villains, Saints and Killer Cuisine hit the stands in December after a private release in October. John gave a lively and entertaining presentation at the Osher Saturday Morning Book Talks on December 1, 2018.

Compass Flower Press was honored to release three volumes of delicious poetry by newly acquired authors, Kathleen Cain with her first collection, Journeys, and Sharon SingingMoon Feltman, also with her first published book, Random Seed. Our third Poetry volume of 2018 is modern and accessible Christian poetry, Mountains in the Valley by Marcia Y. Collins.

Earlier in the year, we stayed busy with the first official anthology for the highly successful local book festival, The Unbound Book Festival with Boundless, an Anthology of Prose. A very demanding, yet intellectually satisfying task. David G. Collins honored us with his skill and excellent judgement in the editorial role.

We have another outstanding lineup in store for 2019 to keep your book shelves stocked. Get details in a coming newsletter!
