About the Book
Pan, the deposed god of the world, was also the god of music, but Pan was a moody and spiteful god who would sometimes lead the unwary down a path to their own destruction.
Pan is gone now. Or is he? Perhaps he still exists, lurking in the dark places. Here are five stories each with the power of realism but also the charm of fable. Stories that melt the real into the surreal. Each story compels us to consider why music is many things to many people, and how people succumb, each in their own way, to the seduction of music.
